In an act of state censorship under the guise of \u201cprotection of minors\u201d, \u201cde.wikimannia.org<\/a>\u201d was indexed as \u201charmful to minors\u201d by the Federal Review Board for Media Harmful to Young Persons on 9 January 2020.<\/p>\n

The protection of minors is only a weak camouflage for this state censorship. The application for indexation hardly mentions content harmful to minors, but all the more moral indignation is expressed. The socially critical content of WikiMANNia is reinterpreted as discrimination:<\/p>\n

  1. Critique of feminism is reinterpreted as discrimination against women (approx. 20%)<\/li>\n
  2. Criticism of the homo lobby is reinterpreted as discrimination against gays (approx. 40%)<\/li>\n
  3. Criticism of the smuggling and migration industry is reinterpreted as a reduction of refugees (approx. 40%)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Ultimately, the justification can be summarized as the assertion that the dissemination of dissent that runs counter to the state-ordered narrative would be \u201charmful to young people\u201d. This is very much reminiscent of the \u201cGDR\u201d and the dystopian novel \u201c1984\u201d.<\/p>\n

    At its core, it is about the insult to state feminism, refugee helpers and the homo lobby, who fear for their sovereignty of interpretation. The matter is not at all about the protection of minors, as is shown in detail in the substantive refutation<\/a>.<\/p>\n

    Also should be mentioned that every provider is allowed to broadcast youth-endangering offers unrestrictedly on every TV channel at 10 pm, while any references to \u201cde.wikimannia.org\u201d by Google to the call of a \u201ccunt department\u201d from \u201cGermany\u201d are removed from the index around the clock.<\/p>\n
